科技時代的中文教育學術研討會

Since 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC) in Hong Kong and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Putonghua Training and Testing Center at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Center for Language Education, HKUST will organize an academic conference entitled “Technology-Enhanced Chinese Language Education.”

This conference aims to bring together experts and scholars from China and overseas to jointly explore the applications of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, speech technologies, and virtual learning environments in Chinese language education and testing, thereby promoting innovative development and international cooperation in language education.

The conference will focus on how technology is reshaping the teaching, learning, testing, and assessment of Chinese. Through keynote speeches, paper presentations, and roundtable discussions, we will address key challenges in the digital era, including precision education, learning analytics and diagnosis, and the increasingly diverse needs of learners.
